Faces : living moments

Life happens in moments. Stacked on moments. On and on. What you are right now, what you are thinking right now. Will change in a moment and you’ll be forever different as you move onward through life. Usually it takes many moments for the change to be noticed. Sometimes it takes just one. Portraits are frozen frames of single moments. Who that person is right then and there. Most represent all the moments which came before, leading that person to who they were then and there. Seldom is a photographer lucky enough to capture the moments of change. Those which forever alter the subject. When such a moment is captured. You can see it in the subject’s eyes. It’s unmistakable.

“I am not now what I was yesterday. I am not now what I shall be tomorrow. So you do yourself and injustice to judge me by yesterday when I have moved on.”
